In recent years, Reacted and Activated Rubber, RAR, has been designed and introduced to the asphalt industry to alleviate the problems involved with the production and implementation of rubber modified bitumen. It is composed of soft bitumen, fine Crumb Rubber and different fillers including hydrated lime and AMBS and is produced by hot blending and activation of rubber particles with an asphalt binder. RAR is added directly to the pug-mill in asphalt plant via a dry mixing process. Although the effect of RAR on asphalt performance has been evaluated with desirable results in different parts of the world, further investigation is required to show its performance for asphalt mixtures with different gradation types. It is attempted in this research to design the dry-method RAR and the wet-process crumb rubber modified asphalts of dense and gap gradations based on the volumetric properties of Superpave gyratory compactor specimens and to evaluate them by performance testing compared to unmodified asphalts. Permanent deformation, fatigue as well as fracture properties of RAR modified asphalts were evaluated and compared to those of unmodified and crumb rubber modified asphalts. The results revealed that rubber modification of asphalt mixtures increases stiffness, decreases permanent deformation and the RAR is as effective in rutting as the rubber modified bitumen. The fatigue life of CR modified asphalts is more than unmodified ones and the fatigue performance of RAR modified asphalts is sensitive to mix gradation. Furthermore, rubber modification reduces flexibility index, increasing asphalt fracture cracking potential. Changing aggregate gradation and mix design characteristics is essential for rubber modified asphalts with an enhanced performance against all pavement distresses.}, keywords = {rubber asphalt,RAR,Super pave,fatigue,Flexibility index}, title_fa = {اثر افزودنی لاستیکی RAR بر عملکرد آسفالت با دانه‎بندی پیوسته و میان‎تهی}, abstract_fa = {تولید و اجرای آسفالت با قیر لاستیکی به روش اختلاط تر در سراسر دنیا با دشواری زیادی همراه است. در سال‎های اخیر، افزودنی لاستیکی RAR برای کاهش دشواری تهیه و مصرف قیرهای لاستیکی طراحی و به صنعت آسفالت معرفی شده است. این افزودنی متشکل از قیر خالص، پودر لاستیک و فیلرهای مختلف است که از طریق مخلوط کردن گرم و فعال‎سازی لاستیک درون قیر تولید شده و به روش اختلاط خشک مستقیماً به میکسر کارخانه آسفالت اضافه می‎شود. اثر RAR بر عملکرد آسفالت در نقاط مختلف جهان با نتایج مطلوب ارزیابی شده است، لیکن برای نشان دادن عملکرد آن در آسفالت‎های با دانه‎بندی متقاوت به تحقیقات بیشتری نیاز است. در این تحقیق سعی بر آن شده است که آسفالت لاستیکی با دانه‎بندی پیوسته و میان‎تهی به روش اختلاط تر با استفاده از پودر لاستیک و به روش اختلاط خشک با استفاده از RAR با توجه به مشخصات حجمی مربوط به نمونه‎های متراکم دستگاه تراکم چرخشی سوپرپیو طراحی شود و با انجام آزمایشهای عملکردی در مقایسه با آسفالت معمولی بدون افزودنی مورد ارزیابی قرار گیرد. تغییرشکل دائمی، خستگی و نیز شکست آسفالت‎های حاوی RAR ارزیابی شده و با آسفالت‎های اصلاح‎نشده و اصلاح‎شده با پودر لاستیک مقایسه گردید. نتایج نشان داد که اصلاح آسفالت با مواد لاستیکی باعث افزایش سفتی و کاهش تغییرشکل‎های دائمی شده و افزودنی RAR در شیارافتادگی به اندازه قیر لاستیکی مؤثر است. عمر خستگی آسفالت‎های اصلاح‎شده با پودر لاستیک بیشتر از آسفالت‎های بدون افزودنی است و عملکرد خستگی آسفالت‎های حاوی RAR به نوع دانه‎بندی بستگی دارد. همچنین استفاده از افزودنی‎های لاستیکی باعث کاهش شاخص انعطاف‎پذیری و افزایش ترک‎خوردگی آسفالت می‎شود.}, keywords_fa = {آسفالت لاستیکی,RAR,سوپرپیو,خستگی,شاخص انعطاف‎پذیری}, url = {https://www.trijournal.ir/article_106959.html}, eprint = {https://www.trijournal.ir/article_106959_ae164665732227e2927d41de45b7c8b0.pdf} }
