Abstract
Today, most road bitumens in the world are modified with the help of various additives due to some inherent weaknesses of bitumen and the need to increase their range of use. In this regard, Sulfur polymer as an additive for asphalt modifier direct effect of increasing the strength of asphalt and improve its fatigue behavior. Adding sulfur to the Bitumen, causing changes in the mechanical properties of modified rheological properties of bitumen and asphalt mixtures. In this study, to evaluate fatigue behavior mixture of sulfur-containing polymer with other types of asphalt mixtures typical of different amounts of sulfur polymer (30%, 40% and 50%) to build a prototype, and is used for testing fatigue loading deformation control Upload a sine wave to determine the fatigue life of the asphalt According to standard (AASHTO-T321) was selected. Finally, The results of this study indicate that the fatigue life (Nf50) of the sample with 40% sulfur polymer is 49,960 cycles and the life of the sample with 40% sulfur is 19,500 cycles at the strain level of 600 microstrain.
