Abstract
The frequency of occurrence of geotechnical hazards in the field of roads, such as landslides of slopes overlooking the road as a result of excavation, necessitates the use of a method with high speed and accuracy and lower cost. The use of photogrammetric method is a new method in geotechnical studies and slope stability, which can be used to determine the potential of slope failure and its instability. The studied area is the Yasouj-Kakan axis, which is located in the mountainous areas of Kohgiluyeh and Boyerahmad province. Many times, during the rains, the instability of the excavation trenches has caused accidents and has caused the road administration to bear a lot of costs in the matter of road maintenance in this area. In this research, first, using photogrammetry technique, an area of the studied route was taken. After analyzing the data obtained from the photogrammetry of the area, three different sections were determined and then the stability of these sections was investigated. Slope stability analyzes were performed in two cases without precipitation and with precipitation. The results of the study showed that the speed of action in the photogrammetric method for capturing the shape of the earth is evident in a very large area. The accuracy of the harvested areas is much more accurate and at the same time much faster than other traditional methods that were done using mapping cameras. In all sections investigated in different areas of this route, the reliability coefficient of stability is close to 1 and the slopes are on the threshold of instability. Considering the situation with maximum rainfall in the study area, the slopes become completely unstable. Therefore, it is recommended to use a slope stabilization technique for the studied trenches.
