Ranking of Internet taxi companies using the combined method of ANP and ARAS and DEMATEL (Case study: Rasht)

Abstract

Nowadays, the use of internet infrastructure to provide better services by transport companies is a topic that has been generally welcomed by the society. This research, with the main objective of rating the internet taxi companies in Rasht city, tries to investigate and evaluate the performance of these companies in terms of satisfying and attracting customers. In this regard, first by studying various sources, the evaluation and rating criteria of this type of service companies were identified. Then, using the opinions of experts, the effective criteria were identified and categorized. In the next step, the final criteria were determined using pairwise comparison questionnaires. The internal relationships of the criteria were determined by DEMATEL method and weighted through the network analysis (ANP) method. Finally, the of the companies was ranked through the steps of the ARAS method. According to the results, availability and travel quality criteria are more important than other criteria. Also, among the three active internet taxi companies in Rasht: Snap, TapC and Maxim, won the first to third ranks, respectively.
